-Name: Hakiri Sora (Was once called "Koinu-chan" by a friend.)

-Age: 16

-Gender: Female

-Species: Human/golden retriever hybrid

-Description: Sora has dog ears, a tail, blonde hair, and

brown eyes. She's shorter than most girls her age, and

sometimes seems more like a kid than a teenager.

-Nationality: Japanese (Lives in Kagoshima. She's homeless, and lives in

Tsurumaru High School in the evening once everyone's left through

an emergency exit that is often left unlocked. Many doors

inside the school are left unlocked, including her 'room', the

teacher's lounge.)

-Disabilities: Sora was born with an emotional disability that made

it impossible for her to feel any other emotion but

passive happiness. She's never felt sadness, anger, or even excitement

or joy. Not even she knows whether she's

truly always happy, but it's something she's had to live

with.

-Parents: Sora was raised by her mother until four years

ago, when she died from a terminal illness. Sora has

no idea who her father is, so she became homeless

after she was evicted from her and her mom's condo.

-Behavior: Sora always seems happy because of her condition, even

when she's not. She has tells - like her palms

sweating and her grabbing her clothes when she's nervous, her

ears sticking up and her tail wagging when she's excited,

and her pupils somewhat unsettlingly dilating when she's angry. Although

when she's nervous, she'll always stutter, trip over words, and

generally, not make much sense.

^

You might think Sora is a social butterfly, but in

reality, she's always been anti-social and became even more anti-social

after her mom died. Judging by her strange clothes-grabbing when

she talks to other people, she also seems to be

socially anxious, or maybe just anxious in general. She tries to

look on the bright side of everything, and after she's

done lying to herself, she'll think about all the things

that could possibly go wrong, often out loud.

^

Sora's always wanted to have friends. Some have even wanted.

to be her friend before, but once they found out

how strange she acted, they assumed it'd be better to

just leave her alone.

You don't really need to get to know Sora to

know she's usually not as happy as she seems, but

there does seem to be some part of her that's

trying to keep a good attitude, or maybe trying to

stop her from going mad...

-Job: Sora often knocks on random doors around Kagoshima looking

for work. She uses whatever yen she gets to buy

food that isn't from the school cafeteria or pilfered from

a snack machine...
